Our All Season Formidable Ally

Words In Season:
To escape the error of salvation by works we have fallen into the opposite error of salvation without obedience.
             A. W. Tozer

"For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
           Romans 8:13

The best of the best godly sorrow can do in our lives is to work repentance. A repentance of coming to terms with our individual sins and facing the facts of them to be sins. Then follows a readiness in our mind to change and forsake them.
And this where the battle starts. To will is present with us; but how to do that which is good we find not. Romans 7:18b. Seeing another forces in our members, warring against the determination of our minds to quit sinning and start obeying God. Romans 7:23
Who then shall deliver us from this body of death? Paul the Apostle asked, utterly frustrated!
The Holy Spirit remains our formidable ally in the war against sin in our members. The reason Jesus sent us The Holy Spirit in addition to manifestation of the supernatural and enablement in the work of the ministry, is to also supernaturally enable us to live holy and righteous. Just as he that walks with the wise shall be wise, so is he that walks with The Holy shall be holy. And that holy person can be no other than The Holy Spirit.
Fellowship with The Spirit and walking in The Spirit is the means by which we can mortify the deeds of the body and live holy and be holy, just as He is holy. "....but if ye through The Spirit mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live" Romans 8:13
The more we live holy and righteous the more the power of God is resident and retained and more tremendous in manifestation. Actually the ground rule of spiritual power is holyness and righteousness. Same goes for outpouring of fresh anointing the self same Spirit. Now all ye that labour and are heavy laden with new year resolutions every year and before you know it in mid February, you are back to "business as usual"
The question of "who shall deliver me from this body of death" has been finally answered.
It begins with receiving Jesus in your life and receiving the gift of The Holy Spirit. Then ye shall receive power...! Acts 1:8. Come to Jesus today and surrender your life to Him. Then let Him save you and empower you by His Spirit to mortify sinful deeds of your mortal body.
