Ships Of Destiny

Vessels of destinitny
Words Of Knowledge:

The ships of relationship, fellowship, friendship and  partnership determine where you are heading to.
   Soji Omole

Bearing:
"But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from The presence of The LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of The LORD"
         Jonah 1:3

Bottomline:
A man or woman or man that still lives in his or her father's house at the age of 42 must have boarded any of the wrong ships above, at one point in life. Even if you are a bachelor or spinster, responsibility and moral decorum demands you should be in your own apartment, if it is just one room.
Jonah boarded the wrong ship and found himself in a storm.
God did not ask him BUT commanded him to go to Nineveh but he refused and headed for Tarsish, all in an attempt to run from God. Not only did Jonah met a storm on the way, he became the sacrificial scapegoat for the storm.
Two servants of God blessed my soul for life and eternity. Reverend Paul Jinadu and Bishop David Abioye. Paul Jinadu said, the more we learnt how live our lives, the less problems we have. Bishop Abioye said, problems can be avoided. And just of recent in a teaching he again reiterated that same point he made several years back. That you don't have to confront some challenges in life but you can avoid them. With the same backing in Proverbs 22:3, repeated again in that same Proverbs 27:12.
"A prudent man forseeth the evil and hideth    himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished"
Just as Jonah attempted to run from God, many in an attempt to run from the responsibility of facing their studies boarded the ship of wrong relationship with truants. Motor park boys and miscreants in Oshodi Lagos will tell you their stories better.
The ship going to Niveveh is the ship of commitment and taking responsibility. Commitment and taking responsibility to succeed in your Christian walk, in marriage, in business, in career, academics, just anything worth doing and worth doing well.
And to enter the cabin of Tarshish bound ship is to run from commitment and taking responsibilities. And the destination, we need not a prophet or soothsayer to predict. Except God shows mercy.
Finally brethren, there is a ship I would have love as many as are reading this but are yet to, to board FIRST. It is the ship of sonship. Yes, sonship to God. From there you connect the shipS of relationship, friendship, partnership and fellowship with Him.
And the destination? Very awesome! Awesome beyond what eyes can see, ears can  hear and beyond what mind can imagine. I Corinthians 2:9.
The tickets in unlimited quantities, are available with Jesus Christ and it is free. Receive Jesus now as your Lord and set sail.
"..as many as receiveth him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God..." John 1:12
