The purpose:
Many things happen in life that we simply cannot explain. There are some who are traumatized by the pitfalls and simply give up, while others pick themselves up, shake it off and move on. As a survivor of domestic violence, Lorraine's messages are designed to give hope and inspiration to those who are struggling with past hurts.

Lorraine is an author, inspirational speaker, CEO and founder of Destiny's Daughters of Promise (DDP), a mentoring and leadership program for young women. The program is unique, structured and highly effective in providing skills that will help to increase the chance of healthy development for young adults. Lorraine is also a veteran of the United States Army. She served as an Army Career Counselor before being honorably discharged.
Lorraine has earned a master's degree in Education and is certified in Supervision and Administration. She builds on her experience as an Instructional Coach to conduct training and workshop sessions to adults and teens. Career highlights include: teacher, reading specialist, recipient of the David Watts Scholar award and the Meritorious Service Medal. Lorraine resides in Georgia with her husband, Charles. She is a member of Word of Faith Family and Worship Cathedral in Austell, GA.
